SFI - Swedish for immigrants
Sfi is a basic course in Swedish as a second language and an introduction to the Swedish society. Sfi is primarily intended for newly arrived adult immigrants and refugees.
You are entitled to attend Sfi if you are
- 16 years of age or older
- a resident in Falun and have a permanent personal ID number (10 digits)
Level 1 Course A is for you who have little to no education in reading and writing.
Level 2 Course B and C is for you who have a short education from your native country and wants to get a basic knowledge of Swedish that qualifies you for a job as soon as possible.
Level 3 Course C and D is for you who have upper education from your native country and is planning
to continue your studies.
Sfi Bonus
You can get paid for completing some of the Sfi (Swedish language studies) courses.
